The Get It Right Initiative (GIRI), with whom CQIC partnered for the event that launched the CQIC and its Construction Quality Charter, are holding a series of FREE webinars. Based on the GIRI Design Guide, the series focusses on how to reduce error and positively influence design quality through\u00a0doing the right thing<\/em>\u00a0in the initial design phase, and\u00a0doing the thing right<\/em>\u00a0in the construction phase.<\/p>\n Hosted by\u00a0Nick Francis<\/a><\/b>\u00a0with guest speaker\u00a0Gavin Pike<\/a><\/b>\u00a0from\u00a0Bennetts Associates<\/a><\/b>, the first webinar is taking place on Monday 24 April between 1.00pm and 2.00pm<\/strong> and will consider the characteristics of effective design that avoid errors, introduce the Design Guide, and discuss its practical application.<\/p>\n The webinar is free to attend and open to members and non-members of GIRI.<\/p>\n
