WEBINAR : Quality – When does it happen?
Thursday 27 February 2025 12.30 – 13.30
The quality achieved on the briefing, design, installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) are critical factors on how well a facility will function once it is operational. On an average build, typically 25-30% of the total project cost will be spent on MEP services, creeping closer towards 40% on some more complex, specialist projects. How do we assure that MEP is done to the required quality standards and when do the efforts to do so take place?
CQIC are pleased to be collaborating with CIBSE Scotland and the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) Scotland to bring this event to you where we will be looking at those questions.
The webinar will be chaired by CIBSE Scotland’s Steven Dijkstra-Downie and include presentations by two leading figures in the Construction Quality Improvement Collaborative (CQIC), Colin Campbell of Scottish Futures Trust and Stuart Lochrie of FES Group. Colin is co-chair of CQIC and Stuart is a member of the CQIC Steering Group and provides the perspective and insights of the MEP sector to the CQIC.
The presentations will be followed by a panel format, including the opportunity for delegates to ask questions and explore construction quality in more depth.
