Head of Capital Planning, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde
John is a registered Architect who has been working within NHS since 2000 and is currently responsible for managing NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Property & Capital Planning team and its programme of work. He has been the Board’s lead for delivery of over £200m of projects through the hub programme utilising DBFM and DBDA contracts since 2012 and has chaired NHS Scotland’s Building Design and Construction Group (BDaC) since 2019 He is the lead author of its Quality Matters report. Prior to joining NHS John worked within the private sector on retail/commercial and large-scale social housing projects utilising traditional and design & build contract processes.
